Election Inspectors Always Wanted
The Orange County Board of Elections encourages Orange County voters to actively participate in the democratic process by serving as Election Inspectors. This year the Board of Elections will hire approximately 1,300 Election Inspectors to work the Primary and General Elections. Openings are currently available in all towns and cities across Orange County.
To serve as an Election Inspector you must be an enrolled voter in either the Republican or Democratic Party, a resident of Orange County and able to clearly speak, read and write the English language. All inspectors are required to attend a mandatory two-hour training session.
All Election Inspectors are paid $200 for each election worked and are compensated for attending training.
For additional information on serving as an Election Inspector contact the Orange County Board of Elections at 845-291-4474
